0668’s daughters have proven him as one of the good ones. Quite a number of our mature cows are 0668 daughters and they are great cows. We used him heavily in natural service and continue to use semen now. We get great results linebreeding to Lodge by crossing 0668 with DDA Lodge E5H.
Hyland Angus used several herdsires out of his dam, Hyland Barbara 0266. She was in production for 10 years and her mother for 18 years. 0668 has 144 bull calves with an average birthweight of 77lbs and 135 heifer calves with an average of 74lbs.
